Medium Picture Large Picture Comments: Picture here is the last Air Corps officer I/C Air Station Finner Camp being thanked by the O/C Finner Camp for all the Air Corps SAR work carried out from Finner during a small ceremony to mark the end of the Dauphin / Air Corps SAR Detachment at Finner.

The Dauphin was operated from Finner Camp on SAR duties, however all Air Corps SAR operations in the North West of Ireland will now be operating from Sligo Airport with the Sikorsky S-61N that is on lease from CHC Helicopters.
