During the month of march Fliegerstaffel 11 flying the McDonnell Douglas F-18 Hornet and Fliegerstaffel 8 flying the Northrop F-5 Tiger II held their annual Wiederholungskurs (refresher course) at Meiringen Air Base in Switzerland (Meiringen is approximately 45 minutes drive from Lucerne and 30 minutes drive from Interlaken).
IrishAirPics went along to capture the flying activity at what is probably the most photogenic air base in Europe.
