During October South Dublin County Council and the Irish Air Corps held an exhibition of Air Corps aircraft, engines, photographs and other memorabilia in the Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre.

Centrepiece of this exhibition was SIAI Marchetti SF260WE Warrior, reg 231, other items in display were Merlin, Goblin & Gypsy engines, a Spitfire propeller, models and aircraft instruments.

While the Air Corps Museum at Baldonnel provided the hardware, the Photo Section provided the large size Air Corps photographs from past and present.

During my visit former members of the Air Corps were on hand to provide information (and tell stories), also on hand was our very own Tony Kearns (see if you can spot him in one of the photos).

While most of the picture to the right contain the Marchetti I circled the aircraft so that you could get an idea of what was on display around the aircraft.
