The air show that wasn't... RIAT 2008 was cancelled due to the car parks and portions of the air base being water logged due to the sheer amount of rain dumped in the area in the days prior to the air show weekend.
After taking pictures of the massed RAF Flypast we were lucky enough to get into the Park and View enclosure (the car parks were closed so we had to park up some distance away and walk back to the base) where among the last of the arrivals and practise displays we witnessed the F-22 Raptor display.
This aircraft just becomes a flying cloud when pulling high-g's due to the vapour coming off the airframe.
There's not to much to offer in the way of pictures from RIAT 2008 unfortunately, hopefully 2009 will be drier.
