Elbit Selected to Provide, Operate Simulators For IAF Transport Aircraft

Contract Valued At $74 Million Over 13 Years Elbit Systems has been selected by the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) to provide and operate flight simulators for the upgraded C-130H and C-130J transport aircraft of the Israeli Air Force (IAF). The contract value will be in an amount of $74 million dollars for a thirteen-year period which includes a set up phase of approximately three years and a ten-year operating period.
