Commerce Leaders Introduce FAA Reauthorization Bill


Funds FAA Through 2021, Would Not Split ATC Off From The FAA U.S. Senators John Thune (R-SD) and Bill Nelson (D-FL), who respectively serve as the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, along with Sens. Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Maria Cantwell (D-WA), the chairman and ranking member of the Aviation Operations, Safety, & Security Subcommittee, today announced the introduction of S. 1405, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2017, which reauthorizes federal aviation programs through fiscal year 2021.
