Judge Admits Conflict, New Court Hearing Schedule for April 28th... Just Days Before Show Talk about your short deadlines... The future of the Planes of Fame Annual Airshow, in doubt due to a law suit filed by a airport neighbors that saw it as more of a problem than a benefit, has yet to be decided. A much anticipated April 20th hearing had to be put off when the Judge noted details that demonstrated a potential conflict of interest. The Thursday hearing, under the control of Judge Michael Sachs, took a turn when he disclosed that he had reviewed a number of issues related to the airport when acting as Assistant County Counsel for San Bernardino County, through 2007. Tom Bochard, the counsel for the companies attempting to top the airshow then requested that another judge be substituted. The new Judge, David Cohn, will hear the case beginning 1330 on April 28th.
