Two-Day Operators Meeting Held In Rio de Janeiro As part of the celebrations for the 20 years of commercial operation of the 50-seat ERJ 145 jet, Embraer invited almost 30 operators of the jet family for a two-day Embraer Operators Conference (EOC), in Rio de Janeiro. The first commercial flight of the ERJ 145 occurred on April 6, 1997, with U.S. airline Continental Express.
