Effort to decrease aircraft noise over Grand Canyon derailed

WASHINGTON -- An effort by the National Park Service to reduce noise from helicopters and tour planes flying over the Grand Canyon was thwarted Friday by a group of congressional lawmakers from Arizona and Nevada.
